Coach - Colton Copeland
"Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Copeland began swimming recreationally at a young age. He swam competitively for four years during high school.
After graduating from Biloxi High School, where he swam competitively, Copeland attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he received his Associate’s Degree in early 2013. He is currently working on his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Marine Biology at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Copeland began lifeguarding part-time and teaching water safety classes over the summer of 2013, which led to him finding a passion for coaching the upcoming generations. He began coaching summer league in 2014 and later moving on to become a coach for Biloxi Elite Swim Team in 2016, where he continues to coach the developmental groups."
